Most missing people are found safe and well. The police ask us to share if there is a concern for the welfare. Sadly, and occasionally the outcome is not good in Sarah's case. Please can you delete all images as requested by the police. I have removed the image from the Alert messages and via social media. 

I'm sure we all send our sincere condolences to Sarah's family and friends at this very difficult time.

We are sorry to say that a body has been discovered in our search for missing woman Sarah, aged 60, from Oxford.

Formal identification has not yet taken place but Sarah's family have been informed. Our thoughts are with her loved ones at this extremely difficult time.

We are carrying out enquiries into the death, which is currently being treated as unexplained, and a file will be prepared for the coroner.

We would like to everyone who shared our appeal from yesterday. Obviously we are no longer appealing for help to find Sarah so please delete any images of Sarah or shares of our appeal, out of respect for her family.
